About us…
'The Nameless' are a 4 piece metal band based in Woolgoolga, NSW. We formed in 2017 as a 3 piece act and as of 2021 have since added another guitarist to our lineup forming the band we have today. We've travelled and shared the stage with many different Australian acts such as Astrodeath, Red Bee, The Black Swamp, Awful Noise, Naugrim, Scum Fu, Whisperhead and Til Ya Dead just to name some of the more recent ones.
Back in September 2022 we dropped a single called ‘Forever Descending’ establishing the sound for our second album; ‘The Descent’, that released May 20, 2023. Following that first single, we released 'Suppression', 'If The Questions Never Stop', and more recently along with a music video; ‘Rewind’. We recently released a music video for Forever Descending, and are doing numerous instrument playthroughs of the album being uploaded to our YouTube channel.
Our previous releases include:
Rain; an introduction to the band, a short 4 song demo. Very raw. Released early 2020.
Ignorant Servitude; our first full length album. Less on the technical side of our work, mostly very groove based. Released 2021
Systematic Exploitation; this was the EP where we decided to really set a direction for the band and achieve the sound we desired. We consider this to be a new beginning. Released May 2022.
Beyond the Universe; this is an almost 8 minute song that's essentially meant to be a little journey for the listener. This song is more on the melodic side of our work, and is unrelated to our any of our albums. Just a release for the meantime. Released November 2022
